Be part of a dynamic team and make a difference!   Location – Sydney (other locations to be considered) Salary - $94,198~$112,011 (plus 15.4% superannuation) depending on experience ASIC 4, Permanent role Applications close at 11:59pm AEDT, 21 April 2025   The team  The Enterprise Services Group consists of four teams including Finance, Procurement, Property and Contracts, Performance Reporting and Planning and the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program. The Group provides a range of support, advice and analysis services across ASIC.   As a Category Officer, you will: Provide expertise, advice, and support on Public Governance, PGPA Act, and government procurement framework. Assist stakeholders in procurement activities to meet business needs, achieve value for money, and ensure compliance. Collaborate with stakeholders on end-to-end procurements, ensuring consistent process, governance, risk management, and probity. This includes: Engaging with stakeholders to identify and address requirements. Identifying the appropriate procurement method. Preparing RFx and contract documentation. Assessing and reporting on procurement risks. Managing release, addenda, close, and supplier notifications. Collating and distributing responses and information to the customer and evaluation team. Collating procurement evaluation documentation. Preparing recommendation reports and gaining financial delegate approvals. Negotiating with suppliers and preparing contract/order documents. Executing contracts and registering them. Review procurement documents and consult with legal specialists on technical issues. Provide probity and process advice during procurement. Review procurement processes, systems, and workflows to improve efficiency.   Experience in providing operational support and advice on the end-to-end procurement life cycle. Knowledge of government (state or federal) procurement policy framework and probity requirements. Experience in resolving procurement and contracting issues. Strong project management skills and customer focus and attention to detail. Excellent relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to work independently and be accountable for outcomes.
