Junior Scholars nurtures and cultivates a caring, comfortable, environment to children through play, academic, well-being and utilizing technology to support learning. The program includes infant, and toddler care, Pre-K Daycare, Junior Kindergarten, Before and after school camps. Currently, we are looking for Early Childhood Education Workers in our Surrey South location to start, continue, or expand their careers at Junior Scholars. V3X 0H4 Benefits: 2 Weeks Paid Vacation Job Duties: · Planning and implementing learning activities that can support and promote the development of children (either working with groups of children or one-on-one depending on the learners' needs); · Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment (both indoor and outdoor play areas) for children's use, including checking toys and equipment to ensure safe functioning; · Leading children in activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, demonstrating the use of simple musical instruments, preparing craft materials and demonstrating their use, and providing opportunities for creative expression; · Along with observing and making a note of children's development, our Early Childhood Educator communicates his / her observations to the children's parents on a regular basis; · Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children; · Providing care and supervision for children in an all-day group care program.
