This role involves spending part of the time directly in the classroom (Ages 4-5) and part of the time supporting other rooms (1-3 years). The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to fostering a positive and nurturing environment for our children. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum and activities. · Ensure compliance with educational standards and licensing requirements. · Monitor and evaluate classroom activities to enhance learning experiences. · Support teachers in developing lesson plans and teaching strategies. · Recruit, train, and evaluate early childhood educators and support staff. · Conduct regular staff meetings and provide professional development opportunities. · Offer mentorship and guidance to teachers in classroom management and child development. · Ensure staff adhere to safety, health, and educational policies. · Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children. · Implement and enforce health and safety regulations. · Monitor child behavior and development, addressing concerns as needed. · Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's learning and well-being. · Maintain records, including attendance, incident reports, and developmental progress. · Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for childcare facilities. · Manage budgets, resources, and inventory for classroom supplies. · Handle enrollment, scheduling, and parent communications. · Foster positive relationships with families and address concerns. · Organize parent-teacher meetings and workshops. · Engage with the local community to promote early childhood education programs. · Communicate program updates, policies, and child progress to parents.
