Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Reading, Berkshire (and surrounding areas) Contract Type: Temporary, Term-Time Only Start Date: Immediate Responsibilities:• Work closely with class teachers to provide individualized support to students with SEN. • Assist in implementing personalized learning plans and accommodations. • Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students. • Support students during classroom activities, ensuring theirsafety and engagement. • Collaborate with other professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists. Requirements: • Experience working with children with SEN (either in a school setting or other relevant context). • Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude. • Strong communication skills to liaise with teachers, parents, and external specialists. • Flexibility to adapt to the varying needs of students. • A commitment to promoting the well-being and progress of SEN students.
