Promote Independence: Encourage students’ personal development and independence while maintaining high expectations of behaviour. Educational Activities: Assist in delivering high-quality, challenging, and tailored educational activities to help students achieve their potential. Classroom Assistance: Support the Class Teacher with day-to-day classroom operations and tasks. Adaptability: Respond flexibly to the school’s dynamic needs and perform various tasks as required. Holistic Development: Support the social, emotional, behavioural, cognitive, physical, and spiritual well-being of students. SEMH Teaching Assistant Skills&Requirements: Education: Minimum Grade 4 (GCSE) or equivalent in Maths and English Language. Safeguarding Knowledge: Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures. Previous experience supporting students with special educational needs is highly desirable. Transportation: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or reliable means of commuting to King’s Lynn, Norfolk. Compliance: Applicants must have full-time right-to-work status in the UK.
