Working directly with ourFounder& CPO, you will be responsible for building a seamless and engaging product that captivatesTCG players, collectors, and investors. You will collaborate closely withengineering, marketing and growthto craft acolorful, fun, and gamified experiencethat feelsplayful yet powerful. Beyond aesthetics, you’ll be thinking aboutuser acquisition, engagement loops, and how design can help grow our user base. This is ahigh-ownershiprole in which you’ll not only design screens but alsohelp define how CardNexus grows and evolves. Define& Execute the Product Design Vision– Own theend-to-end design process, fromuser researchand wireframing tofinal UI and polished interactions. Shape a Fun, Engaging, and Playful UX– Design interfaces that feelexciting, intuitive, and interactive, leveraginggamificationtechniques to drive user engagement. Create a Scalable Design System– Developa flexible and visually compelling design systemthat allows for rapid iteration. Work in the Heart of the Startup Chaos– Adapt quickly topivots, changing priorities, and fast decision-makingwithout losing sight of the bigger picture. Design for User Growth& Retention– Implement UX strategies that encouragevirality, social engagement, and stickinessin a TCG-focused community. Test, Learn, and Iterate Rapidly– Move fast, A/B test, gatherqualitative and quantitative insights, and refine experiences based on real user behavior. Make Data-Driven Design Decisions– Leverage analytics to continuouslyoptimize onboarding, engagement, and conversion flows. Engage with the TCG Community– Beactively involved in user conversationsonsocial media, Discord, and forums. Answer questions, collect feedback, and runsurveys, polls, and interactive gamesto better understand our audience and create experiences that truly resonate with them. Core Skills& Experience: ✅8-10+ yearsof experience inproduct design, UX/UI, or interaction design, with at least one role in anearly-stage startup. ✅English communication skills—you canarticulate ideas, design concepts, and feedbackto aninternational, remote-first team. ✅ Experience working onB2C digital products, preferably withconsumer marketplaces, gaming, or social platforms, or inventory management tool. ✅ Strong ability todesign for engagement—understanding gamification, habit-forming UX, andplayful design approaches. ✅ Ahighly adaptable mindset—you thrive in fast-moving environments wherepriorities shiftand are comfortable working without strict processes. ✅No ego when things change—you embrace feedback, pivot when needed, and don’t get stuck on a single solution. ✅ Strongcross-functional collaboration skills—experience working closely withdevelopers, product managers, and marketing teams. ⭐ Experience ingamification, social engagement mechanics, or community-driven products. ⭐ Apassion for gaming, trading card games, and geek culture—you understand our users because youare one of them. ⭐A portfolio that showcases colorful, engaging, and high-quality UI/UX work(extra points for gaming, collectibles, or marketplace products).
