Our AI doesn’t just answer questions - it takes action by making decisions and triggering workflows through APIs. We help hotels, property managers, and tenants operate more smoothly, eliminating friction at every step. We believe UX is the difference between a smart product and a product people love to use. That’s why we’re hiring a UX& Product Design Lead to rethink and redefine how users interact with ailean. This is not just a UX Designer role - it’s a high-ownership position for someone who can think like a Product Leader. You will set the UX vision, prioritize what matters most, and turn complex AI automation into seamless, intuitive experiences. You’ll work directly with the CEO but will need to be 100% independent - our team is deep in product development, and no one will tell you what "good UX" should look like. You will need to analyze workflows, rethink user journeys, and drive UX decisions that no one else in the team has time to make. - Own the end-to-end UX strategy for ailean - make it faster, simpler, and more intuitive. - Identify pain points in existing workflows and redesign processes from the ground up. - Work closely with real users (hotel staff, tenants, guests) to understand their frustrations and needs. - Prioritize high-impact UX fixes that bring the most value with limited resources. - Create wireframes, prototypes, and UX concepts - or manage freelancers to execute UI designs. - Collaborate with developers, balancing ideal UX with technical feasibility. - Push back against tech limitations when needed - advocating for better UX over "what's easiest to build." - Conduct usability testing& research to validate design decisions. - Set up design guidelines& best practices to ensure consistency. - You take full ownership - you don’t wait for instructions, you drive UX decisions. - You love simplifying complexity - you can take a frustrating process and turn it into an effortless flow. - You understand AI& automation - or are excited to learn how users interact with these technologies. - You have experience in SaaS, B2B platforms, or AI-driven tools. - You’re comfortable in high-speed startup environments - moving fast and iterating often. - You’re not just a thinker - you execute, test, and push UX improvements forward fast. - You know how to work with developers, balancing UX vision with technical constraints. - Bonus: You have experience in hospitality, real estate, or automation platforms (not required). Example of Your Mindset Our AI can scan a booking confirmation and send a door code to a guest. The tech team sees this as a great AI feature - "look how smart it is!" But you, as the UX& Product Design Lead, step in and say: “This is actually bad UX. The guest is already standing in front of a locked door. How do we prevent this situation entirely?
