Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be bringing you this fantastic new role working for a leading manufacturer of safety products based in South Yorkshire.
As a B2B Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth withkey clients.
This position requires a diligent individual to manage their calendar and spend 2-3 days per week in market, visiting customers to develop business opportunities and build meaningful relationships.
A Key metric for this role will be to maximise customer facing time to drive forward new business opportunities and develop connections with key contacts, truly understanding their business needs and supporting with our World leading solutions.
The Business Development Manager is required to build their own pipeline of new business opportunities and nurture those within certain key prospect accounts.
Role&Responsibilities:• The key purpose of the Business Development Manager is to identify and target potential B2B clients that align with our ideal target customer profile.
• Manage and maintain their diary to maximise customer facing time in market, mainly through Face-to-face meetings but also through virtualcalls and meetings where visits are not possible.
• Be aware through various channels including social media of potential business opportunities and industry trends, gaining a demonstrable understanding of our focus industries, our core customers (current&prospective) and the competitors relevant to our markets and regions.• Build and maintain a robust opportunity pipeline through lead generation and nurturing.
• Work with the Regional Account Management team to ensure seamless on boarding of clients.
Skill&Experience:• A proven track record in a new business development role is essential.
• A strong networker that utilises all methods available to develop business; cold calling, trade shows, networking, Marketing and CRM tools, Linkedin.
• Flexible to business needs in terms of UK travel, this role requires 2-3 days a week out in the market.
• Experience selling into key growth markets including data centres, Renewables, Energy, Industrial desirable but not essential.
