A major Global Engineering Consultancy needs experienced Project Managers to join a Client Management Team on a major design and construction packages on the Hinkley Point C project. The Project Managers should ideally have major infrastructure project experience, ideally with a Client side background, working within a Client focussed Consultancy or directly for a Client organisation, ideally from a civil engineering background. As a part of the Project Management and Construction team, you will take responsibility for full life cycle project delivery including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities whilst ensuring robust planning and scheduling throughout. You will have experience of delivery projects using NEC Contracts, managing budgets and programmes. The role also offers an opportunity to transition into emerging energy industry development and delivery in the longer term, working on evolving new power generation technologies to vastly reduce carbon emissions. Principle responsibilities will include– Programme&project management Stakeholder engagement Delivering transformation initiatives Client Reporting Preparing leadership presentations. Leading and managing teams including contractors, consultants, and other advisors. Provide leadership to the project team to ensure that the project, as delivered, meets the Clients’ objectives. Lead a team of professionals, providing vision, strategy, and direction. Anticipate, manage, and resolve issues within the contact or the various packages. Identify risks and facilitate the resolution of all issues raised, develop, and update the programme budget, and escalate anyissues if required.
