Roles and Responsibilities • Basic skills to utilize PLC controls, measurement devices, and other equipment used in the manufacturing process • Basic skills to safely use loading and unloading equipment used to meet production and quality requirements • Demonstrated abilityto develop and retain skills for proper and efficient material handling to ensure product traceability • Demonstrated ability to develop and retain skills with monitoring equipment and recording data to document the manufacturing process • Basic communication skills to identify manufacturing anomalies relating to equipment operation, productivity, and quality • Assist in basic maintenance as required to meet maintenance schedules with trainer • Adhere to housekeeping standards for the area as defined by the Production Lead • Demonstrated ability to contribute to the continuous improvement process by submitting ideas and supporting projects to improve safety, delivery, cost, and quality • Read/acknowledge and follow procedures administered by safety, quality, and engineering • Demonstrated retention of skills by following processes and procedures, used in operations and maintenance • Perform other related duties as required Physical/Environmental Scope of Position• Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment • Subjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils and other related industrial hazards • Work in confined spaces and wear a respirator and/or self-contained breathing apparatus • Must demonstrate the physical capacity to meet the demands of the "Heavy" Job Placement Assessment (JPA) as administered by St. Elizabeth Business Health Services Required Behavioral Dimensions • Safety Awareness • Work Standards • Quality Orientation • Contributing to Team Success • Energy • Adaptability Experience/Education/Certification Required • High school diploma/GED • Basic computer skills • Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical information • Problem solving and troubleshooting ability • Ability to perform in a team oriented environment City (-ies) :WALTON Minimum education level achieved :GCSEs
