We're currently recruiting a dedicated Front Of House Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 18 hours per week. Here's what you need to know before applying: Your key responsibilities will include: Provide a warm, friendly, and professional welcome to all players, staff, and guests Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages in dining areas, lounges, and meeting rooms Handle special dietary requests and ensure service aligns with nutritional requirements for players and staff Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in all front-of-house areas Set up and clear dining areas, meeting spaces, and other service areas efficiently Replenish food, beverages, and consumables in service areas as required Report any stock shortages to supervisors to ensure smooth operations Work closely with kitchen, catering, and other operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery Assist with event and meeting setups, adapting to changing requirements quickly Our ideal Front Of House Assistant will: Previous experience in a front-of-house, hospitality, or customer service role is advantageous Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment A professional, approachable, and team-oriented attitude High attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence Flexibility to adapt to changing Part of Compass Group UK&I, ESS is the Defence, Government, and Energy services sector of Compass Group UK&Ireland.
