As a Director, Indirect Procurement - IMEA, a part of the global team driving the improved processes, you will set the strategic vision and implement organizational goals related to all Indirect procurement matters in the IMEA region, partnering closely with the procurement CoE leader, other Procurement Leadership Team leaders and other leaders in the region to accomplish results. You will also support the identification and execution of best practice development and sharing across the global Indirect organization as we push to take the Lubrizol Global Procurement organization to best-in-class Procurement capabilities.   Under limited direction, you would be leading the planning and execution of key procurement strategies, primarily focused on products, services, information technology, packaging, and CapEx and the impact these initiatives have on the organization, while also providing overall leadership for all Procurement activities in the region including Direct, Logistics and 3PM Procurement on a “dotted line” basis. You would also be accountable for ensuring effective spend and continuing to drive savings, value, and efficiencies for the region.  What We're Looking For (Responsibilities / Accountabilities):   •    Own strategy, sourcing, and category management for all IMEA Indirect Spend, while simultaneously supporting the identification and implementation of best-in-class processes in Indirect activities globally. •    Lead, coach and mentor a diverse team that supports a wide range of stakeholders throughout the organization •    Effectively manage key suppliers via risk mitigation, scorecards and KPI’s •    Support the leadership of all Procurement in the IMEA region, whether solid line or dotted line reporting, to drive regional engagement, personnel development and growth, and KPI execution •    Demonstrated financial acumen with experience in project valuation and business modeling •    Plan and negotiate long-term contracts that deliver a positive impact to corporate cost and service level objectives •    Partner with all levels of leadership cross-functionally to build impactful, efficient, and cost-effective business and vendor relationships •    Monitor and analyze trends and market conditions for present and future pricing, availability and capacity of goods and services; coach and assist team in identifying supply base risk and drive implementation and closure of mitigation plans •    Weigh and appropriately balance technological, market, competitive and organizational factors to achieve a competitive advantage •    Build Supplier Relationship Management and risk management practices across the Indirect organization, in line with the Global Procurement processes •    Stimulate and support supplier innovations, working with the other regional leaders to recommend new initiatives to build and expand the innovation and savings pipelines •    Monitor and analyze trends in company spending and make recommendations for future investments while identifying possible savings opportunities •    Develop and implement global strategic sourcing standard business processes and drive a best-in-class strategic sourcing organization •    Collaborate with internal stakeholders to proactively anticipate business needs •    Ability to successfully work in a matrixed organization to achieve the goals of the global organization, including gaining buy-in and implementing best in class Indirect Procurement activities and processes globally Skills That Make a Difference: •    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Purchasing/Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Finance. An MBA would be preferred •    An individual who has led transformative change in indirect procurement with diverse stakeholders will be an added advantage. •    At least 15 years of experience in Strategic Indirect or Direct procurement management or a combination of 15 years of Procurement and other commercial roles in a high-volume, highly complex manufacturing environment •    Ability to lead a diverse, global team inclusive of a hybrid office model •    Experience with procurement systems and familiarity with source-to-pay technical platforms •    Familiar with negotiations and constructing formal supply contracts •    Cost modeling experience •    Demonstrated abilities to implement process change improvements and best practices. •    High degree of ethics, compliance, integrity and honesty •    Negotiating skills for contracts, pricing, resolving service issues, etc.   Ready for your next career step?
