We are currently seeking a Digital Engineering Staff Engineer to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN). Once You Are Here, You Will: Lead Quality Engineers across multiple teams to ensure consistency, adherence to best practices, an Automation-First approach, and enforcement of team working agreements such as the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD). Evaluate and maintain the testing strategies, approaches, tools and frameworks used by the teams. Design, develop and execute test automation frameworks and test automation suites. Provide regular quality and status reports. Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture and detailed design documents. Act as key point of contact for other Quality Engineers across multiple teams. Identify and resolve issues that arise when integrating the application software with other software components. Mentor and guide other Quality Engineers on the QA Process, the testing strategy, tools and frameworks being used and assist them in growing their careers. Conduct regular performance reviews and conduct interviews. Support the PFT, ODSe, SBDT, IDIS, Route Manager, and ORION Projects. Perform various functions in the Package Engineering Team (PET) across a range of application suites to support the implementation of client/server application software for the PET projects as needed. Required to perform PET packaging / development, unit testing, execute lab environment installations, maintain lab environments, and troubleshoot installation issues. Provide technical guidance to less experienced staff. Collaborates with teams and recognizes/integrates emerging technologies to achieve objectives. Application development experience is required. Analyze application packaging requirements, create design documents, implement and testing the solution for projects as needed.  Activities are performed across a varied range of software suites. Troubleshoots/resolves technical problems, provides full technical support during installations. Instructs/assists others with performing installs and troubleshooting issues. Performs planning, diagnoses risk and system issues, takes corrective action to ensure continuity of systems. This position identifies and implements technologies and processes to improve reliability, efficiency, and availability of the systems environment. The individual will utilize standardized tools for work assignments of moderate risk, impact, complexity, and scope. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years Powershell and/or Windows Command Shell scripting. 7+ years XML experience. 1+ year experience leading Quality Engineers. 7+ years' experience overall working with distributed/remote agile product development teams. 7+ years' experience in software testing and writing software testing automation in one or more of the following: Java, C# and/or JavaScript/TypeScript. 7+ years' experience in one or more of the following: planning, designing, and implementing testing strategies and automation infrastructure for large scale system software. 3+ years Excel and Access experience. First-hand experience executing load, stress, API and database tests using enterprise level test automation tools. An expert in at least one test automation framework, such as Selenium, Tosca, Playwright, TestComplete, SpecFlow, or similar – mobile test automation is a plus. A deep understanding and real-word experience building automated test suites following Behavior-Driven Design (BDD). HCL/IBM Big Fix, C#, .NET and SQL programming desired. Able to teach the Gherkin syntax to others. Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in fast-growing environment. Curious, resourceful and eager to tackle new challenges. The starting pay range for this remote role is $122,700.00-$255,600.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
