DRAFTING TECHNOLOGIST ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: · Review concepts and specifications for construction projects · Develop engineering designs and drawings with AutoCAD and related software tools · Consult with clients for contract specifications and scheduling · Review designs and drawings for completeness and accuracy · Coordinate with internal and external parties for completion of project deliverables · Provide training to junior drafting staff · Perform other related duties as assigned or required QUALIFICATIONS: · 1+ years experience · Completion of secondary school · A strong working knowledge of AutoCAD · Working knowledge of 3D rendering and presentations · Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines · Excellent communication and teamwork skills WORKING CONDITIONS: · Work locations may vary; frequent travel to client sites is required.
