This position is responsible for providing confidential administrative support to management and operating departments and performing a variety of administrative functions. This is a part-time position requiring two days of work per week, with potential for additional hours during vacation coverage. Responsibilities:Efficiently close off work orders and preventive maintenance tasks within the maintenance/asset management systemCreate purchase orders and work orders accuratelyOversee orientations and ensure compliance with regulationsManage inventory of consumable goodsPrepare documents, reports, and presentations; maintain spreadsheets effectivelyOrganize documentation across departmentsMaintain confidentiality of filing systems and employee recordsSupervise janitorial staffCoordinate special eventsProvide support for communication and office equipmentOffer backup coverage for training, scheduling, payroll, and accounting tasks Qualifications:Administrative Certificate/Diploma or equivalent relevant education and/or experience.Minimum of two years of administrative experienceExceptional interpersonal skills, capable of effective interaction at all levelsStrong self-starter with adaptability to various situations and a team-oriented approachExcellent communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks concurrentlyDemonstrated willingness to undergo cross-training and acquire knowledge about our businessProficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPointOutstanding organizational and communication abilities Asset:Previous experience in a grain or food handling environmentPrevious experience working in a unionized environmentKnowledge of IFS assets management systemKnowledge of KRONOS payroll systems Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package, training and career development opportunities. Interested candidates should click the APPLY TO THIS POSITION icon to apply online by July 4, 2024. Richardson International values diversity in the workplace.
