The candidates must be active, independent, and eager to work as a team. Position Details: Company: Dry Link Construction Ltd. Company Location: 14425 58 Avenue, Surrey BC - V2S 1Y3 Position: Siding Installer Number of positions: 3 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: $28.85 per hour Start date: As soon as possible Work locations(s): Surrey, BC, and various other job sites in the Lower Mainland area (BC) as per the company's contracts with its clients. Job duties: · Read blueprints or work order specifications. · Determine layout and installation procedures. · Measure, and mark guidelines to be used for installations. · Erect and install scaffolding or other working platforms. · Prepare underlying surfaces for installation and perform minor repairs if needed for better installation lifetime. · Install siding as per specifications and schematics for buildings using hand and power tools. · Cut and trim materials to shape when fitting siding around windows or corners, using a knife, shears, or portable power saw. Job requirements: · Completion of Secondary school would be considered an asset but not mandatory. · Minimum 6 months of installation work experience in a similar field is required. · Ability to communicate in English.
