MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Lead Production Operation: · Lead, coach, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve production targets and meet quality standards. · Assign tasks and monitor work progress to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production schedules. · Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. · Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols. 2. Production Planning and Coordination: · Collaborate with the production planning team to develop production schedules, allocate resources, and ensure materials availability. · Monitor production activities to identify bottlenecks, resolve issues, and optimize production processes for maximum efficiency. · Coordinate with other departments (such as Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Continues Improvement and Warehouse) to address production-related concerns and maintain smooth operations. 3. Quality Assurance and Compliance: · Enforce strict adherence to quality control procedures, product specifications, and regulatory requirements to ensure consistent product quality. · Conduct regular inspections and notify quality department of issues, process deviations and non-conformances. · Investigate root causes of quality incidents, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability. 4. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: · Monitor production performance metrics, including output, scrap rates, downtime, and labor utilization, and take corrective actions as necessary. · Generate production reports, analyze data, and provide insights to management regarding production efficiency, capacity utilization, and areas for improvement. · Implement and maintain visual management systems to track production progress, display key performance indicators, and promote a culture of accountability. 5. Continues Improvement · Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings in production operations. · Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects, applying Lean Manufacturing principles. Such as 5S, Kaizen and Root Cause Analysis. · Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving among the production team to drive continuous improvement and operational excellent.
