Work setting · Office of health care professional Responsibilities Tasks · Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities · Follow through on treatment programs with patients · Help physical therapists · Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine · Set up and dismantle equipment · Clean and maintain equipment · Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies · Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices · Process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation · Maintain supplies · Connect treatment machines to patients, as directed by chiropractor · Maintain inventory of equipment · Perform general clerical duties · Process files and paperwork · Schedule and confirm appointments · Manage routine office functions including reception, telephone and booking appointments · Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients · Order supplies and equipment · Organize and maintain inventory Experience and specialization Computer and technology knowledge · MS Office Area of specialization · Physiotherapy Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities · Fast-paced environment · Hand-eye co-ordination · Combination of sitting, standing, walking · Attention to detail Personal suitability · Client focus · Accurate Who can apply to this job?
