Salary: $27.50/Hourly Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Language: English Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible Minimum Education: Post-Secondary Education Positions Available: 1 NOC title- Physiotherapist Assistant NOC Group- Other technical occupations in therapy and assessment (NOC 32109) Job Location (s) Unit- 103, 8556 120 Street Surrey, British Columbia V3W 3N5 Duties/Responsibilities: · Promote patient's health by aiding with physiotherapy services under the direction of a physiotherapist · Assist the physiotherapist in organizing specialized services such as massages, acupuncture, electrotherapy, laser therapy, hydrotherapy, etc. · Provide knowledge and consult the patients about exercises and movements that can be performed at home · Assessment of treatment programs or recommend courses of action/modifications in treatments based on the patient's health progress · Conduct physical examinations and assist the patients in using clinic equipment safely · Prepare the patient and the environment for treatment as directed by the Physiotherapist · Evaluate performance and report on patient's medical record · Prepare documentation to support the delivery of physiotherapy services · Assist patients in using supportive devices, such as crutches or canes · Clean medical equipment and maintain inventory of equipment supplies · Maintain hygiene and a clean working environment by adhering to the procedures, rules, and regulations, and complying with infection-control policies and protocols.
