Inspecting equipment PM including lube and grease. Performing various mechanical repairs including bearing or seal replacements, gasket installations, auger repairs. Performing safety equipment checks such as: fire extinguisher, eye wash stations, emergency lighting and others as assigned. Troubleshooting various process equipment. Serving as liaison with outside contractors and carrying out safety orientations, issuing safe work permits, filling out Pre-task plans and Job hazard assignments. If you have... A vocational or college training/certificate/degree/license or equivalent is preferred, however, not required. Experience in manufacturing maintenance in a process industrial environment. All trades with relevant experience will be considered. Familiarity with safety practices and techniques relating to the Ag Biotech industry or equivalent preferred. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Climbing steps and ladders as well as lifting up to 50 lbs. This position will involve some weekend and on-call hours.
