Job Duties:
· Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems and components, including pumps, cylinders, motors, and valves.
· Perform preventive maintenance on hydraulic equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
· Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts.
· Troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic-related issues on drilling rigs and machinery.
· Install, assemble, and calibrate hydraulic systems and components.
· Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
· Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
· Maintain accurate service and repair records in compliance with company standards.
· Collaborate with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime and improve efficiency.
· Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining equipment and tools.
Skills Required:
· Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
· Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals.
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Ability to travel to work sites as needed.
· Must be able to obtain valid driver's license.
Experience Required:
· 3-5 years of experience as a Hydraulic Technician or in a similar role, preferably in the drilling or mining industry.
Education Required:
· Completion of secondary school.
· Post-secondary education or certification in hydraulics, mechanical systems, or a related field is an asset.
Wage & Hours: $39.00
· Number of hours per day: 8-10
· Number of days per week: 5
· Number of hours per week: 44
· Overtime starts after how many hours: After 44 hours
· Shift rotation: Monday-Friday
