Meaningful employment for our employees is important to ensure the sustainability of our farm business.?Job Description:Be able to perform a wide variety of mechanical work ranging from repairing brakes on semi-trailers to more complex diagnostic work as well as co-ordinate, assign and supervise maintenance duties performed by other farm employees;Maintain farm machinery, equipment and buildings;Operate a full range of medium to very large farm equipment as directed by employer; including carrying out seeding, spraying and harvesting operations;Train operators in correct daily maintenance procedures;Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance work;Perform adjustment in settings to equipment used in seeding and harvesting of various crops;Maintain a functional, orderly, and clean workshop;Procure repair parts and workshop supplies;Keep tools in good working order, organized and secure, returning all tools to designated area;Keep accurate and complete maintenance/repair records; andFollow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment required for the job.Pay is highly dependent on experience.
