This position offers the opportunity to work directly with farmers and suppliers to shape our future in the seed sector. ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer RelationsManaging customer orders and inventoriesMaintaining regular customer touch points (calls, emails, farm visits)Organizing customer meetings and eventsMarketing & AdvertisingManaging website, print ads, and social mediaOrganizing regular email communications with customersQuality ManagementEnsuring compliance with quality assurance programGrading and sampling of processed seedDetailed record keeping and reportingRegulatory ComplianceEnsuring compliance with AWSA, VUA, & MTW programsReporting of sales & inventories Qualifications & SkillsRequiredPrevious work experience or formal education in agriculture with a strong understanding of modern farm operationsValid Class 5 driver’s licenseSelf-motivated with the ability to work independentlyHighly organized with attention to detailEffective communication and relationship building skillsPreferredExperience in agricultural retail sales, inventory management, or marketingFormal education or experience in agronomy or seed certificationCreative mindset for developing marketing strategies What We OfferA salary range of $55,000 to $65,000 for qualified applicantsA health and dental plan for you and your family after 90 daysSemi-flexible work arrangementsThe use of a company vehicle during work hoursCompany owned housing and relocation assistance if requiredProfessional development opportunities including industry certifications and conference attendance The CommunityThe town of Plumas is a vibrant community with a full range of services and volunteer-run programs.
