We then harvest that seaweed and manufacture products for regenerative agriculture, helping terrestrial farmers increase yields while decreasing emissions. This leadership role entails overseeing the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to market launch, while also leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets and expand our market presence. This role is responsible for growth, profitability, and the success of our product line. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the organization's success in being a trusted partner for farmers and livestock producers by blending visionary product development with strategic sales leadership.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Develop and execute a comprehensive product development and sales strategy aligned with the company's goals and market trends.Provide visionary leadership, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to market launch. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer needs. Work with the operations and engineering team to ensure the product is of the highest quality, meets consumer expectations. Analyze market conditions, competitors, and customer feedback. Develop pricing strategies and positioning for agricultural products. Identify target markets and customer segments. Develop a strategy working with distributors, formulators, wholesalers, agents, and growers to market and sell the biostimulants. Creating marketing plans for sales, pricing, and distribution channels. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities in the agriculture sector.Leverage industry knowledge to drive product innovation and enhance the competitiveness of our offerings.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Minimum of 5 years of agricultural product management experience, preferably in the agriculture or environmental sector.Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.Experience in market analysis, product strategy development, and product launch execution.Strong understanding of agricultural practices, especially related to fertilizer use and soil health. Knowledge of environmentally friendly and sustainable practices in product manufacturing and distribution. Proficiency in product management software and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience working in the agriculture product space.Established network in the agriculture sectors.In-depth understanding of agricultural crop/soil amendment productsAbility to travel and visit farmers and attend events Familiarity with agricultural and environmental regulations and standards. Experience in ensuring products meet all legal and certification requirements for sustainability and environmental impact.EducationBachelor’s degree in business, agribusiness, economics, marketing, agriculture, environmental science, or relevant work experience in a related field.A master's degree in business administration, environmental management, or agricultural sciences is considered an asset.
