You’ll be responsible for ideation, research, design, analysis and development of new releases; plus, you’ll support and maintain existing applications. What you’ll do:Lead and mentor the AgExpert software development team, including managing project planning, goal setting, prioritization, budgeting and employee resourcingEnsure information and data-related risk is effectively managedUse inclusive design principles to improve customer interactions and journeysManage internal and external technical and product collaboration with product development team, lifecycle management analysis, version management and new product ideationLead the architecture, design and development of robust, maintainable and scalable API solutions using the latest technologies and best practices to provide an exceptional customer experienceSupport, maintain and enhance existing processes and systemsResearch and recommend enhancements to existing applications, third-party software, emerging technologies and AgExpert user segmentsMaintain and assess the health of the product delivery framework What we’re looking for:Strong communicator able to effectively explain and simplify complex conceptsProven leader passionate about helping others succeedRelationship-builder able to connect with a variety of internal and external stakeholdersStrategic thinker who can trouble-shoot issues and develop solutions to complex problems What you’ll need:A bachelor’s degree in agriculture, computer science, business or commerce and at least 10 years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)Extensive knowledge of the agriculture and technology industriesExpert-level proficiency in one or more technology stacks/languages and the ability to deliver very complex solutionsUnderstanding of the majority of FCC’s key technologiesExpertise in common design patterns and when to apply them
