To maximize its growth potential, we are seeking high-energy individuals to assist in all areas of the business. Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together We are seeking an Account Manager to manage accounts North Central AB.The ideal candidate will be a high-energy team player with great communication skills, be a proven closer, and maintain excellent Salesforce and Google Suite Products. The Account Manager will be responsible for the management of a territory, including the growth of existing accounts, the nurturing and management of opportunities within these accounts through the defined phases of the sales process, and maintenance of a high rate of closure. The Account Manager will be assisted by the customer success management team.  ResponsibilitiesSell and differentiate Optimize RX and related products, crop marketing, IoT and Sure Check to new and existing customers, expanding Decisive Farming’s existing territory throughout Western CanadaParticipate in overall sales planningCreate territory business plan annually and reviewed monthly Execution of the corporate sales plan with the Sales ManagerRegular participation at trade-shows as required and seen beneficial to business growthDevelop and execute promotional territory budget with the goal of creating a positive Decisive Farming imageSeek and participate in community and customer events that would be beneficial to the overall territory business planResponsible for accurately completing a grower checklist for ALL agronomy growersDaily usage of Salesforce CRMProvide basic front-line technical assistance for customers (loading files, navigating proprietary software, etc.)Help nurture and develop Retail partner accounts, driving growth through assigned and new growers Qualifications You’re the missing piece of the puzzle Knowledge and Skills Knowledge/experience with Microsoft CRM, Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook, experience with LinkedInExcellent communication skills (oral and written)An effective listenerAbility to reach out to target accounts to generate interest and opportunityAbility to speak at the farm level with confidenceAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously – excellent organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment  Degrees, Certificates and ExperienceBackground in the farming industry.Strong understanding of Financial processes, accounting, billing, revenue recognitionExperience coordinating sales resources through close processExcellence and professionalism in all communications with clients and prospectsDirect sales experienceExperience as a proven closer in a farm environmentSales Training a plusCCA/P.Ag is a benefit Job InformationPlease note: There are currently two positions available (Territories include Peace Country, Alberta and Central Alberta)Location - Remote (North Central AB)Employment Type - Full TimeBonus/Commissions - Eligible for the Sales Incentive Plan Salary Range:  $69,000-$103,000Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan:  $50,000-100,000Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
