As a Financial Accounting Supervisor (NOC: 12011), you will perform some or all of the following duties: · Manage and organize work processes, while assigning and reviewing tasks of clerks who handle accounts payable and receivable, process financial documents, manage payroll, process insurance claims, and collect overdue payments. · Examine and confirm accuracy of work · Authorize payments, credits, deposits and withdrawals · Create work schedules and procedures · Coordinate activities with other work units or departments · Resolve work-related problems · Prepare and submit progress and other reports · Identify training needs and train workers in job duties and company policies · Order supplies and materials · Ensure computer systems and equipment function properly, and organize maintenance and repairs when necessary. · Perform the same duties as workers supervised. Qualifications: · Completion of a college program or courses in bookkeeping, accounting or a related subject is required. · Experience in the clerical occupation supervised is required.
