Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged Tasks Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities, Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment, Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort, Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse, Weigh, lift, turn and position patients, Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments, Make beds and maintain patients' rooms, Supervise patients' exercise routines, Administer suppositories, colonic irrigations and enemas, Bathe, dress and groom patients, Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher, Answer call signals to determine patients' needs, Collect specimens, Administer first aid in emergency situations Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate Security and safety: Criminal record check, Immunization records Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure, Repetitive tasks, Physically demanding, Attention to detail Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability: Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Patience Employer: Globeas Lodge Inc.
