Woodside Energy is Australia's leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source. In this role, you will co-ordinate loop testing pre-commissioning activities and support completions certification activities for Mechanical Completion turnover to Commissioning and Startup. You will liaise with stakeholders from Engineering, Construction, Vendor Representatives and Commissioning and Startup to ensure construction activities and loop testing pre-commissioning activities are aligned to achieve the project startup schedule. Your work will help ensure project is completed on time and meet contractual requirements.  Major Responsibilities: Ensure that all loop testing work is performed safely, efficiently, and is performed in accordance with Bechtel Standard Testing and Commissioning Procedures and project specific testing procedures. Ensuring resource constraints are appropriately identified and managed to avoid impact on project startup schedule. Coordinate with Construction representatives to ensure quality and timely completion of installation activities to support the project startup schedule. Coordinate with Commissioning and Startup representatives to ensure correct prioritization of loop testing pre-commissioning activities to support project startup schedule and FSA 3 assessment priorities. Coordinate with Engineering to ensure engineering information required to complete loop testing pre-commissioning activities is available to complete loop testing pre-commissioning activities to support project startup schedule. Coordination with Vendor Support Representatives to ensure vendor support is available to complete loop testing pre-commissioning activities on vendor package systems. Coordination of field loop testing and serial communication activities between plant control system and vendor package control system. Coordinate with Health & Safety to ensure loop testing pre-commissioning is performed safely and in accordance with project H&S procedures. Ensure accuracy and effectiveness of systems for track issues and problems preventing completion of loop testing pre-commissioning activities. Ensure accuracy of progress tracking reports. Coordinate field instrument technicians to ensure they have all the information, training and direction required to complete their tasks efficiently and safely. Coordinate interface testing between ICSS and 3rd Party vendor packages including Electrical Control and Monitoring System (ECMS) when testing requires all party involvement. Ensure accuracy and completeness of loop testing. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Prior commissioning coordination experience. Prior experience working on or with any of the following is preferrable: Pressure, Level, Flow and Temperature transmuters/sensors/indicators including different technology, Control valves and On/Off Valves, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrument Datasheets, 3rd Party Vendor Control Systems e.g. Metering Packages. Analyzer Packages, Compressor packages, MKVI / Allen Bradley / Triconex / Honeywell Experion control systems. Working Rights in Australia without employer sponsorship are required.  We are a 2024 Circle Back Initiative Employer & commit to respond to every applicant.   Additional Information This position has responsibilities that include exposure to changing environmental, construction, and operational conditions, which may include: extensive walking in and around an active construction and/or operations site, climbing ladders, working at heights from work platforms including scaffolding, and mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), use of personal fall arrest equipment, walking and working on uneven surfaces, working in constricted and/or confined spaces, variable work shifts (e.g., day, night, weekends, 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift, etc.), and work in inclement weather. Some lifting may be required. Candidate must be able to use standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. respirator, harness, life vest, hearing protection, etc.). The Pluto Train 2 Project is a Major Hazard Facility meaning this is a non-smoking site and no tobacco products – i.e. cigarettes, vapes, lighters, tobacco - are not permitted to be brought to the site. This position is available to both local and non-local personnel. For non-locals (FIFO/DIDO), the working roster is 3/1.
