This role is full time, fixed term (ending August 2025). While WFH/Hybrid options are available, it is essential that the successful applicant maintains a presence at Doncaster in line with our hybrid working model.  Reporting to the Executive Director Enterprise Services, this role will work collaboratively to lead the operating cycle and divisional governance for Enterprise Services. Responsibilities include (not limited to): Provide strategic advice and governance support in actively managing critical activities, projects, and programs of work on behalf of the Executive Director, collating and evaluating relevant input from key stakeholders and providing timely professional and thorough briefings Manage escalated divisional enquiries and provide recommendations on emergent issues directly to the Executive Director and ensure that the interests of AV are appropriately addressed Prepare high level, professional briefing materials, reports, and audit and risk submissions, often of a complex or sensitive nature by applying critical analysis, evidence and recommendations that provide options for executive, senior management, or committee decision Build a broad and robust network and lasting partnerships with senior management, stakeholders, and colleagues across and external to AV whilst creating an environment in which the ED's office is approachable, professional, constructive, and highly effective  To be considered for this position, you will have a Tertiary or post graduate qualification in a business or related field with relevant experience. Other requirements include (not limited to): Experience providing expert advice on complex issues across senior levels of a large and diverse organisation (healthcare or public service/sector highly desirable) Proven corporate services and governance knowledge and experience including committees, procurement, finance, HR, audit, and risk Demonstrated experience developing and sustaining strong, effective working relationships and networks with all stakeholders and relevant external organisations Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills to enable the identification of issues and the judgement to determine appropriate courses of action Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and business writing skills with the ability to influence and brief high-level stakeholders in a variety of forums  Working at Ambulance Victoria As a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
