About the role Joining the Elders St George team as a Support Officer Logistics, you will be joining a close-knit team dedicated to providing livestock & wool, agronomy & grain, real estate, and rural product advice to our local clients. This will be a varied role that will see you provide warehousing, logistics and administration support to the rural products team, including receiving and dispatching stock in a safe manner. Supported by the Elders network, you will be provided with the tools necessary for you to grow in your career. ResponsibilitiesAs a Support Officer Logistics you will:Assist sales staff by picking, packing and coordinating deliveries of orders to clientsProvide exceptional customer service, acting as the first point of contact for order deliveries/ pick-upsPerform the storage, handling, receiving and dispatching of stock in a safe and timely mannerEnsure good inwards and outwards are processed accurately according to the associated paperwork.Assist with stocktake and other rural products logistics support activities as neededAbout youTo succeed in the role of a Support Officer Logistics, you have:A current Forklift License and HR licenseKnowledge of rural products, merchandise storage and handling practicesPrevious experience within a fast-paced customer service environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to work as a teamEffective communication skills, written and verbalAbout EldersAs a trusted Australian agribusiness, we have played an important role in the agricultural sector for 185 years.
