Introducing Western Plains Correctional Centre (Western Plains) Western Plains is a new state-of-the-art, maximum-security correctional facility in the Barwon South West region. In addition to compelling clinical work, we offer:  flexible work options  mental health and wellbeing support  relocation allowances for eligible candidates  limited travel requirements, with most of your work carried out onsite.  What you will do  As a disability and complex needs practitioner at Western Plains, you will conduct assessments, run life skills programs and create positive support plans for people with cognitive impairments. Facilitate life skills and adapted offence-related programs. Develop, implement and monitor positive support plans in collaboration with disability support workers. Lead transition planning and coordinate with external service providers. Supervise and support a team of prisoner peer mentors. Work with staff, case managers and external agencies to ensure effective disability support and release planning. Qualifications  A current Victorian driver's licence is required. Relevant tertiary qualification or experience in the field of allied health is highly desirable. Experience within the disability sector is desirable.
