**DESCRIPTION** We are looking for a talented Mechanical Technician with either a light vehicle or heavy commercial qualification to join our high performing workshop team. Cummins specialises in Heavy Vehicle service, repairs and maintenance across mining, on-highway trucks, industrial and power generation applications. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** + Deliver a first-class service to our customers + Complete service, repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products in our workshop + Support engine rebuilds + Diagnose and repair various engines predominately across on-highway, industrial and power generation + Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety&Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Workshop Manager + Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens + Be part of a community of like-minded individuals, who value your input&are open to all viewpoints&communication **QUALIFICATIONS** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** + Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards) + Previous repairs and maintenance experience with Diesel Engines, Power Generation, On Highway Truck, Construction or Agriculture desirable but not essential. + Diagnostic and problem-solving capabilities + Be a team player&be prepared to adhere to Cummins Policies + Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety&Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues / incidents to shift supervisors **Compensation and Benefits** + **$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!!** + Competitive hourly + shift allowance rate paid as a permanent salary, + Overtime penalties for all work above standard + Monday to Friday 38-hour work week. + Participation in an annual variable compensation (bonus) program + Income Protection continuance insurance + Discounts with select private health insurance + PC software/hardware and a range of vehicles. + Annual remuneration reviews. + Safety equipment / PPE and uniforms provided Our culture believes in **_POWERING YOUR POTENTIAL_** .
