**DESCRIPTION** **Diesel Mechanic - Workshop - Pakenham**• Competitive Hourly Rate + $5k Sign on + OT paid at penalty rates +bonus +super • Day shift (8am to 4pm) • Brand new modern well-equipped facility We have an opportunity for a talented Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team specialising in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across on-highway, construction and agriculture customers based at our Pakenham branch. **Let Cummins train you to be an engine expert.** **In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:** • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products •Diagnose and repair various engines • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning • Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and/or engine components **RESPONSIBILITIES** **To be successful in this role you will need the following:** • Mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Plant mechanic. Light vehicle with heavy vehicle experience may also be considered • Previous repairs and maintenance experience with On Highway Truck, Mining, Construction or Agriculture applications is desirable but not essential • Kenworth, Western Star, Hitachi, Komatsu&Liebherr experience highly desirable **At Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
