To provide energy, skills and excellence in developing meaningful Christian relationships with children and young people inside and outside the Societies on the circuit, in order to encourage kingdom discipleship To grow a children’s and family ministry rooted in the local churches, and engaged in local neighbourhoods – establishing meaningful and welcoming relationships. To encourage and work alongside existing volunteers, and recruit additional volunteers to deliver programmes and new activities for children and young people Provide pastoral support to families within the congregation, create links with families and children outside the congregations Location Larne Methodist Circuit: incorporating Carnlough, Craigyhill & Larne Methodist Churches Contract Permanent Full Time (36 hours per week) or Part Time (minimum of 20 hours per week considered) Salary £26,851 per annum (Full Time) Hours of work 36 hours per week, to include evenings and weekends. Working hours to be agreed in advance, with flexibility built in Expenses All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed. These must be agreed with the line manager in advance. Holiday Entitlement 34 days annual leave entitlement per year, inclusive of bank and public holidays. References & Vetting Appointment will be subject to satisfactory Access NI Vetting and references.
