Role Youth Justice Practitioner & x2013 Harmful Sexual Behaviour SpecialistLocation BarnsleyRate of Pay 20 85 per hourContract Length 6 months About the Role Service Care Solutions is proud to assist a local authority in recruiting for this specialist position We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional with demonstrable knowledge and expertise in working with children and young people who have displayed harmful sexual behaviours This unique role involves providing specialist assessments and interventions to children and their families across the spectrum of children& x2019 s services aiming to prevent wherever possible entry into the criminal justice system Key Responsibilities Conduct AIM3 assessments training in AIM3 is a minimum requirement Deliver therapeutic interventions to children and families with complex needs Write high-quality analytical assessments for courts and professional settings addressing risks safety and support needs Engage in direct work with children and families including home visits Collaborate effectively with interprofessional and interagency teams to achieve the best outcomes for children and families Ideal Candidate Experience Proven ability to work therapeutically with children and families who have displayed harmful sexual behaviours Qualifications A social work qualification is advantageous but candidates from allied disciplines youth work youth justice early help counselling or
