Highway Maintenance SupervisorWe have an exciting new position open for a Highway Supervisor to join our Area 3 team, based in Easton Lane Depot, Winchester. Join us at Kier Transportation, where we are working brilliantly together to make a difference, supporting the movement of people, goods, and equipment.   Location: Winchester, Hampshire Contract: Permanent - Full time (mostly nights with uplift) Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year + company van + benefits   Responsibilities As a Highway Supervisor, you'll be working on the Kier Area 3 M&R contract, managing and delivering works on the National Highways Road Network, supporting them in the safe, effective and high-quality delivery of schemes during the day and night as required.   Your day to day will include: Safely delivering the project in line with SHE legislation and company policies e.g. 5 Basics, CDM Regulations, PUWER, LOLER, 10 steps to safe digging, waste management etc. Deliver and monitor daily briefings that are tailored, specific to the works being undertaken and most importantly making a difference to the safety of workforce. Co-ordinate all supply chain resources at the start of shift to ensure they're working in a co-ordinated, efficient safe and compatible arrangement. Ensure works are carried out to the correct design and specification, snagging as appropriate, with all remedial work being completed prior to signing off. Monitor and accurately record the works during delivery. Record variations / changes and any problemsto the Delivery Managers to tackle during the day shift allowing updates and communications with teams and clients helping works to progress smoothly.   Providing communication between all key stakeholders, including the general public to help minimise the impact of the works and improve the customer experience.   What are we looking for? This role of Highway Maintenance Supervisor is great if you: Are willing to work nights Have SSSTS or SMSTS Have a working knowledge of High-Speed traffic Management on the National Highways Network.
