Tennial Personal are actively seeking skilled Welders and Fabricators to join our client based in Ipswich on a permanent basis. The role specialises in structural and architectural steelwork, requiring strong technical skills. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating high-quality steel structures for a variety of applications, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards. Skills Required• Welding&Fabrication: o Weld and fabricate steel components using MIG, TIG, or ARC welding techniques. o Work with structural and architectural steel components to meet project specifications.• Interpretation of Technical Drawings: o Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical schematics. o Ensure measurements and designs are precise for each project. • Quality Assurance: o Inspect work for accuracy and compliance with industry standards. o Test welds and fabricated items for durability and safety. • Collaboration: o Work closely with team members to meet project deadlines. o Communicate effectively with project managers and supervisors Qualifications Required • Experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with structural and architectural steelwork.• Proficiency in operating welding machines, grinders, and other workshop equipment. • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. • Ability to read and follow technical drawings. • A Counterbalance Forklift License is beneficial but not essential.
