Job description JOB TITLE: Waste Operative LOCATION: The Howard Centre SHIFT PATTERN: 4 on 4 off, 30 hours per week PAY RATE: £12.60 per hour Role Overview And Purpose As a Shopping Centre Waste Operative, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and efficiency within our shopping centre locations, ensuring that our waste management practices align with our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities • Conduct regular waste collection and disposal duties throughout the shopping centre. • Sort and categorise waste materials according to recycling and disposal guidelines. • Monitor waste levels in bins and initiate timely collections to prevent overflow. • Ensure that waste management areas are kept tidy and organized at all times. • Collaborate with other facility staff to implement best practices in waste management. • Report any maintenance issues with waste bins or collection areas to the management. • Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling waste materials in the shopping centre.
