The role: Are you a caring and compassionate Mental Health HCA looking for additional shifts? Our client is looking for experienced HCAs to support their agency bank team in Powys. The roleof a Health Care Assistant is vital to ensure the Trust delivers a safe and high quality service to all its patients. You will be passionate about delivering high standards of care and happy to support people with a range of mental health or physical health diagnosis. You will be an effective communicator and listener and be able to work as part of multi-disciplinary team. We can offer various shifts including days, nights and weekends to fit around your availability. Main duties: You will work as part of a team of ward-based nursing staff and carry out a range of assigned tasks, participating in the delivery of basic nursing duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assist in the adequate nutrition and hydration of individual patients as directed by the Registered Nurse. Participate in food monitoring and complete documentation accurately. Assist in ensuring that the wardarea is kept clean and tidy. Communicate daily with patients and relatives, ward staff and ward visitors, ensuring a polite, respectful, and courteous manner.
