You’ll be someone who is both comfortable workingproactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our deliveryand providing additional services to organisations we work with. Responsibilities: Managing financial due diligence projects, which includes: Preparing and interpreting financial analysis using a range of tools and sources; Leading discussions with the management of client or target businessesto develop an understanding of their business, factors influencing its financial performance and analyse their financial information; Preparing and reviewing succinct, issues-focused diligence reports with clear conclusions and recommendations; Briefing, supervising and developing junior staff; and Project management tasks including preparing engagement letters, monitoring progress against budget and deadlines, and risk management Help build and maintain sustainable client relationships and participate in wider business development and marketing activities such as pitching and thought leadership; and Contribute to the delivery of our people proposition through involvement in activities such as people management, learning and development and recruitment. You’ll be someone with: Thorough working knowledge of Transaction Services. Previous management experience. While a working knowledge of the Microsoft PowerStack (and other data analytics tools) is not a pre-requisite, you will be given support to develop your use of these tools Self-starter who enjoys working as part of a team, but can also work autonomously. Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrates a pro-active approach to their continuous development.
