We're looking for a Temporary Works Co-ordinator to join our Regional Civils team based in Bridgewater Tidal Barrier, Somerset.   Location: Bridgwater, Somerset Contract: Permanent, Full time     What will you be responsible for? As a Temporary Works Co-orindator, you will be responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of Temporary Workson one of England's biggest flood defence schemes, The Bridgwater Tidal Barrier. Your day to day will include: Co-ordination of Temporary Works between our site teams and designers&all Temporary Works activities Ensuring that the various responsibilities have been allocated and accepted by the relevant parties (Temporary Works Designers, TWS and Construction team etc.); Management of of Temporary Works through the full design preparation and checking processes in accordance with appropriate procedures and client requirements Advising the permanent works designer of any temporary conditions, or loads, that should be considered within the permanent works   What are we looking for? This role of Temporary Works Co-ordinator is great for you if: You have previous experience working with main contractor in on Civils/Marineprojects You have a degree qualification in civil engineering equivalent is desirable – one or more of: BSc, BA, BEng, MEng, Eng, Tech, MICE, TIStructE, LCIBSE You have completed CITB Temporary Works Coordinator Course&have a thorough understanding and application of the CDM Regulations 2015 We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome!
