Our local authority client based in Berkshire are urgently seeking an experienced Temporary Accommodation Recovery Officer. *Hybrid - 2 days a week on site* Job Role * To conduct sign-ups for existing temporary accommodation placements, ensuring that households have completed a housing benefit form and sign a license agreement. * Ensure that both NEC and Jigsaw reflect the current TA placement under the correct duty * Conduct suitability assessments on current TA placements * Discharging s.188/s.193 duties where appropriate * Experience of temporary accommodation placement and/or management is essential * Working closely with housing demand, welfare and benefits and TA income * Knowledge of safeguarding principles and how this relates in practice Please apply with your updated CV ensuring that any gaps in employment are explained.
