Job Description You will: * Managing the provision of timely and accurate information ensuring it meets customer requirements. * Representing MI interests as subject matter experts (SME) and providing technical support and expertise. * Ensuring the production of new, regular and ad-hoc reports *Analysing and interrogating DVSA’s data in order to gain a better understanding of the trends and anomalies that affect DVSA’s services. * Managing the team's support of the government's transparency agenda. * Executing leadership and management responsibilities. For further informationplease see the attached Role Profile. Additional Information This role can be based in Bristol, Swansea, Nottingham, Newcastle, Oldham, Birmingham or Leeds. Your presence at one of these locations will form part of the working arrangements agreed with you. We operate a hybrid working model givingyou greater flexibility about where and when you work. Our expectation is that you will spend a minimum 60% of your time at your base location. Visits to other DVSA sites or work locations count towards this. Person specification We are looking for individuals who have: * Have experience reporting data and solutions using Power BI or another similar visualisation tool allowing you to present recommendations to stakeholders. * Be naturally inquisitive with an eye for problem-solving and finding innovative solutions. * Have great communication skills; being able to articulate to stakeholders at various levels. * Be able to advise, contribute and challenge, where necessary. * Manage and engage with integrity. * Demonstrate leadership as well as collaborating with other managers.
