Empowering Learning is working in partnership with local schools in the Borough of Croydon to progress learning. This role involves working closely with class teachers and the other Staff to implement a tailored learning approach where required. The role Starts ASAP September 24. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have a passion for education and SEND environments, the schools have experienced teams already in place and can provide additional training and development as well as us as an agency. The students have severe Autistic and complex needs and require 1-1 support. You will need to be confident in this role and be a specialist with behaviour or extensive experience with Autism. In order to be considered for this role you need to: Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident. Have previous experience of working in a UK Primary/Secondary School Previous Teaching Assistant experience within the last 12 monthsIt would be an advantage, not necessary, if you have previously worked in: SEMH, Autism or youth Work Sports coaches and mentors Graduates in Sport, Psychology, Drama and Counselling and Therapy Worked in the prison service or as a security guard.Please contact Patricia on (url removed) - (phone number removed) The students have severe Autism and complex needs and require 1-1 support.
