The Procurement Officer / Procurement Category Specialist you will be responsible for managing procurement and supply chain activities within a Not For Profit. The role requires strong stakeholder management skills, strategic thinking, and comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes. Description As a Procurement Category Specialist - Procurement Officer you will be; Working within a diverse and supportive team, you will have existing procurement experience and strong proven administrative and communication skills to deliver this dynamic role. You will provide procurement support to strategic activities as well as co-ordinate and support the implementation of new procurement legislation Develop and manage appropriate procurement requests, collate information, conduct research, analyse data and prepare reports Work with a wide range of stakeholders in a changing complex, rewarding environment Manage and oversee all procurement and supply chain activities. Develop strategic procurement plans and policies. Foster strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Monitor and analyse procurement trends and market conditions. Ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations. Collaborate with various departments to identify procurement needs. Conduct risk assessments on potential contracts and suppliers.Profile A successful Procurement Officer/ Procurement Category Specialist should have: Worked in a procurement role and looking to make their next step in their career Strong communication skills and ability to want to learn and develop A strategic mindset with the ability to analyse market trends.
