To be successful as a Senior Technical Architect, you will need the following: Deep expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture. Proven experience in designing service boundaries and communication patterns. Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture and API gateways (including REST APIs and GraphQL). Demonstrated ability to create detailed functional designs and architectural documentation. Proficiency in business process analysis and mapping. Comprehensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including experience with cloud providers and internal cloud provisioning. Strong understanding of containerization and database schema design. Some other highly valued skills may include: A background of application development and coding. Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with CLI and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform. Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business teams effectively. Excellent problem-solving abilities, especially in navigating architectural transformations. Leadership experience, with a track record of guiding developmentteams through complex transitions. Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth. Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions. Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
