Job Title: Senior Payroll Administrator Salary:£28,000 Location: Midlothian JGA is collaborating with a fantastic accountancy to find a Senior Payroll Administrator on a permanent basis. Responsibilities:  Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and maintaining accurate employee records in the payroll system. Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy, inputting data into the payroll system and calculating allowances and deductions, including taxes, pensions, sick leave, holidays, and maternity/paternity leave. Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and clients, providing clear and accurate information on payroll activities and employee benefits. Assist with year-end payroll activities, including generating P60s, P11Ds, and final submissions, ensuring all documents are completed accurately and submitted on time. Respond promptly to client queries regarding payroll matters, offering clear guidance and resolving any issues efficiently. Experience: Possess strong knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices, including auto-enrolment. Proficient in using payroll software and systems efficiently. Demonstrates excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy. Capable of analysing complex payroll data and resolving discrepancies effectively.
