The Senior Heritage Building Surveyor's Role As the successful Senior Heritage Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex heritage projects from inception through to completion. You will play a key role in the preparation of heritage impact assessments, listed building consents, and technical reporting, while also acting as a key liaison between clients, contractors, and heritage bodies. Working across high-profile sites-from world-class museums to royal landmarks-you'll bring deep heritage expertise to each stage of the project, ensuring historical integrity is preserved while modern requirements are met. You'll also be involved in client relationship management, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the overall growth of the heritage service offering.
