Senior Payables Analyst£28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Hybrid (2-3 days per week on-site), 25% Employee Discount, Pension Contributions, Exclusive Benefits

Our client, a prominent player in their industry, is looking for a SeniorPayables Analyst to join their Finance team. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a critical part in shaping the financial landscape of their business and driving successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
*
Process PO andNon-PO invoices, including matching and coding of expense types.
*
Post multi-currency and urgent business payments in line with policies and procedures.
*
Ensure Direct Debit payments are processed in compliance with company policies.
*
Prepare payment runs and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
*
Resolve supplier queries and discrepancies promptly.
*
Prepare supplier statement reconciliations.
*
Collaborate with Financial Reporting, Commercial Finance, and the Treasury Team to resolve accounting and cash book queries.
*
Assist the Payables Team Leader with month-end processes, ensuring all tasks are completed
*
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.
*
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve queries and support business objectives.
*
Participate in ad-hoc projects, including Finance Transformation initiatives and system improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
*
AAT qualified or actively pursuing a professional qualification.
*
Solid knowledge of P2P processes, ideally within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
*
Strong MS Excel skills and a proven ability to support process improvement.
*
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial data effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
*
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work harmoniously across teams.
